Spherion is currently hiring for two Dental Assistant positions for a family-focused dental office. We're seeking skilled, confident Dental Assistants to join a team and support their mission of compassionate, professional dental care. Role Highlights

• Direct Hire
• Pay rate: $20-26/hr
• Schedule: Monday - 9AM-5PM; Tuesday - 11AM-7PM; Wednesday - 10AM-6PM; Thursday - 9AM-5PM; Friday - 9AM-5PM; Saturday - 9AM-1PM; (rotating off Wednesday or Friday) *no summer Saturdays (June, July, August)
• Location: Belvidere, IL

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials for procedures
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatments, including x-rays and charting
• Use Dentrix software for scheduling and documentation
• Fabricate dentry, polish chrome, and apply sealants (certification preferred)
• Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene, and post-care
• Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and compliance with health regulations
• Manage supplies and support front- and back-office efficiency
• Work independently while taking clear direction from the dental team

Qualifications

• Experience in a family dental setting
• A strong, confident personality that works well both independently and in a team
• Ability to take direction and adapt to the needs of a fast-paced practice
• Dentrix experience is required
• Coronal polishing certificate is a plus
• X-ray certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Dental Assisting program preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
