AM Route 

• 5:45AM - 1PM | 5 Days a Week
• Pick up vehicle and food cart from HQ at Bergen St & Vanderbilt Ave
• Routes change - Local BK/Williamsburg/NYC

Job Overview:
King David Tacos is seeking reliable, punctual Drivers to handle daily transport of our wholesale deliveries. In addition to deliveries, we will also need assistance with our mobile food cart between our HQ on Bergen Street and Prospect Park (Grand Army Plaza).

Driver Responsibilities – Wholesale Catering Delivery

• Inspect and prepare the delivery vehicle before each shift.

• Load and secure catering orders accurately and safely.

• Deliver orders on time following assigned routes and delivery schedules.

• Handle food properly , maintaining correct temperatures and presentation.

• Provide friendly, professional service to customers upon delivery.

• Obtain signatures or confirmations as needed for each delivery.

• Report issues like delays, damaged goods, or vehicle problems promptly.

• Maintain delivery logs and basic records (mileage, fuel, etc.).

• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and traffic regulations at all times.

Additional Responsibilities for Cart:

• Safely attach/detach trailer and cart to/from vehicle
• Drive company vehicle with trailer attached (must be able to drive in reverse)
• Load/unload light equipment (e.g., coffee urns)
• Refill generator gas and water tanks (supplies provided at HQ)
• Maintain clear, timely communication with our team via phone/text
• Ensure on-time delivery and pickup at designated locations

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Confident operating a vehicle with trailer (including backing up in reverse)
• Able to lift up to 50–70 lbs and maneuver wheeled carts
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Live in or near Prospect Heights preferred

• Standing and Walking | Extended periods spent on your feet, moving between tables, kitchen, and bar areas.
• Lifting and Carrying | Handling trays of food and drinks, lifting heavy pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Bending and Stooping | Reaching low shelves, cleaning tables, and accessing lower storage areas.
• Repetitive Motions | Continuous use of hands and arms for tasks such as serving, cooking, and cleaning.
• Temperature Extremes | Exposure to heat from cooking equipment and crowded spaces, as well as cold from refrigeration and freezer areas.
• Fast-paced Environment: Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak times while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Multi-tasking | Juggling multiple responsibilities, such as taking orders, delivering food, clearing tables, and assisting colleagues.
• Noise Levels | Working in a noisy environment with background music, kitchen noise, and guest conversations.
