Social Media Manager 1 – ( Remote )
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
· Entry-level social media role focused on the German market
Requires fluency in German and PC gaming experience (personal or professional).
Social media experience can be personal; gaming experience must be PC-based.
Knowledge of DRAM and SSD installation is highly desirable.
· We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Gaming Enthusiast and Regional Social Lead to drive localized social media strategy and community engagement across our Germany and India accounts. This role blends deep PC gaming expertise with social media fluency to authentically connect with regional gaming audiences, elevate Crucial’s brand presence, and supports marketing efforts for our product lines, with an emphasis on our Pro Products.
· Social Media Strategy & Execution
· Develop and execute localized social media strategies for DE and IN markets across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, Reddit and Discord.
· Create culturally relevant content that resonates with regional gaming communities.
· Manage daily posting, community engagement, and influencer collaborations in each market.
· Monitor and respond to community feedback, trends, and conversations in real time.
· Gaming Expertise & Community Engagement
· Act as a regional gaming consultant, providing insights into local gaming trends, behaviors, and preferences.
· Represent Crucial authentically within gaming communities, both online and at regional events.
· Collaborate with influencers, streamers, and esports organizations in DE and IN to amplify brand reach.
· Marketing Collaboration & Insights
· Partner with global and regional marketing teams to align social content with broader campaign goals.
· Provide feedback on product positioning and messaging based on regional gaming insights.
· Analyze performance metrics and community feedback to optimize content and engagement strategies.
· Assist with cross-functional translation efforts within the brand marketing team, including core messaging document translations and localization of content to ensure it resonates with the DE and IN audiences.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a PC gaming enthusiast with hands-on knowledge of DRAM and SSD installation across PC, handhelds, and consoles.
· Native or fluent in English and German .
· Demonstrated success managing social media accounts or campaigns in the gaming or tech space.
· Deep understanding of PC gaming culture and trends.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
· Preferred:
· Experience working with influencers or esports teams in Europe.
· Familiarity with Crucial products and the broader client Technology portfolio.
· Background in consumer technology or gaming hardware marketing.
