Brucefield Manor, a well-loved retirement residence in Mount Pleasant, is looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Worker to help keep our home running smoothly.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and cares about supporting seniors in a respectful, dignified way.
What You’ll Do:
Snow removal and maintain outdoor spaces
Handle small repairs and basic maintenance tasks around the home
Assist with transporting residents, as needed
Help staff with lifts and transfers (including use of a Hoyer lift)
Step in where needed to keep things safe, clean, and comfortable
What You Bring:
General handyman or maintenance experience
A helpful, team-oriented attitude
Willingness to support residents with care and respect
Ability to lift, move, or assist with physical tasks safely
