StevenDouglas has been exclusively engaged on a Senior Associate (Business Intelligence) opportunity with an exceptional private equity firm in Austin, Texas. We are seeking the individual who possesses strong modeling and FP&A experience coupled with technical data management background with PowerBI or other ETL tools.

Reporting to the Principal as an individual contributor, this role is crucial in driving value creation through improving data availability, structure, and reporting capabilities to support strategic decision-making across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and underlying data architecture for seamless reporting and analysis.

Business Intelligence tools are critical to enabling operational excellence and growth within this PE's portfolio companies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, and/or finance/accounting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-starter who stays current with emerging trends in data architecture and technology process tools to make recommendations to portfolio companies and team members as needed.

Required Skills :

• 3 years minimum of experience in database management, data analytics and business intelligence role in consulting or private equity-backed corporate environment.
• Experience with modern big data approaches.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights that drive strategy and decision-making.
• Previous experience working in a private equity-backed, growth company environment or exposure to private equity from a consulting perspective.
