Role: Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Fairfax, VA (Onsite)

Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 (150k - 300k including benefits)

Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI

I am working with a leading Defense and Space organization, based in Fairfax, who are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to support mission critical systems. Looking for a candidate that has experience working with Oracle 19c technologies and system administration practices in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and maintain Oracle 19c, Clusterwase and standalone database environments.
• Develop and manage comprehensive Oracle RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
• Oracle Data Guard configuration, administration, and high availability concepts.
• Oracle PL/SQL and SQL programming
• Create and maintain automation scripts in Linux shell.

Required Experience:

• Oracle 19c RAC, Clusterware installation, patching and admin
• Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration and admin.
• PL/SQL & SQL development experience
• Linux shell scripting experience
• Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment of Oracle.
