This role is for a Radiation Therapist in a single-linac radiation center. The therapist will administer radiation therapy treatments to patients, working collaboratively with a team of physicians and nurses. The position requires proficiency in various radiation therapy techniques and technologies. The therapist will not be responsible for block cutting, performing CT simulations alone, or performing dose calculations.

Responsibilities:
- Administering radiation therapy treatments to patients.
- Utilizing various radiation therapy techniques and technologies (IMRT, ARIA, Varian 21 ex/ix).
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses.
- Participating in a Storm Team/Hurricane Team for disaster response.
- Working with CT Simulation, Custom Molds, Custom Shield, MRI, PET Scan, Tumor Localization, Beam Modifying/Positioning, Wedges, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
- Potential for occasional extended shifts (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Experience with Adult Acute Care.
- Proficiency in Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) treatment planning systems.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Ability to lift/transfer patients using appropriate devices.
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and radiation safety.
- Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams.
- Experience with simulation of treatment sites.
- Experience with CT/iCT imaging.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience as a traveling therapist.
Special Considerations:
- No RTO (Return to Office) allowed after booking.
- 7-day maximum RTO for AYA auto-offer.
- No call requirement.
- No float requirement.
- No weekend requirement.
- Contract staff may be required to work during catastrophic events or disasters.
- Potential for consolidation to a centralized office mid-contract.
- Therapists do not work alone; always paired with another therapist.
Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, occasionally 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Manager schedules shifts based on department needs.
