Job Description

Delta Unlimited LLC in El Paso, TX is looking for one to two pest control apprentice/technicians to join our 48 person strong team. We are located on 7300 Diana Dr. Our ideal candidate is independent, responsible, self-driven, motivated, and engaged.

Requirements

• Valid state driver's license
• Clean background
• Must be available to work Full-Time (32 hours minimum with overtime available; Monday through Friday with some Saturdays).
• Willingness to learn, apply, and grow with the company.
• Must be able to lift at least 45-50 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Effectively identifying pests and ornamental diseases
• Reading labels and familiarizing with chemicals and application methods.
• Effective customer service and customer recovery
• Conducting various pest control services (indoor and outdoor)
• Conducting lawn and ornamental (outdoor) chemical services.
• Ability to perform quality assurance and inspections.
• Regular equipment and apparatus maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors (cold and heat)
• Capable of calculating simple mix rates (arithmetic)
• Effective customer service and customer recovery
• Familiarity with some chemicals and application methods.
• Must be able to enter schools, limited access facilities , and/or federal establishments.

Additional Considerations

• Available to work overtime and/or some weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to travel 2-3 days a month and 5 days every quarter.
• Consider becoming certified within the company and providing at least 2 yeras of service.
