Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Shift: 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts | No weekends, no holidays, no on-call
Duration: 13 weeks (high possibility of extension)
Compensation:
Local: $56 – $58/hr
Travel: $65 – $70/hr
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient-centered care, utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal recovery outcomes in the post-anesthesia setting.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients’ needs.
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate to determine priorities for patient care.
Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.
Perform assessments based on patient condition, medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.
Execute therapeutic nursing interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage comprehensive care for assigned patients in the PACU.
Document care according to standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for and utilize evidence-based nursing practices.
Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum 2 years of recent critical care and PACU experience required.
Strong background in Telemetry .
Must be Telemetry certified .
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
Active NJ RN License (or multi-state compact license)
Telemetry Certification
