Title: Manager, Materials Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The EPBL program focuses on delivering efficient and reliable material management solutions to support production and operational requirements. The program ensures timely procurement, inventory control, and distribution of materials to meet customer needs and maintain optimal supply chain performance. Job Summary The Manager, Materials is responsible for overseeing all aspects of material planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, optimal inventory levels, and smooth material flow throughout the supply chain. The position requires strong leadership to manage a team and collaborate across functions to meet program objectives. Roles and Responsibilities + Lead all material and logistics activities for the EPBL program. + Manage the materials management team, including warehousing, planners, buyers, and inventory control staff. + Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization, cost reduction, and supplier performance improvement. + Ensure parts forecasts are accurate and available for all repair orders. + Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability. + Monitor and analyze inventory levels, forecast demand, and adjust procurement plans accordingly. + Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers; assist with contract negotiations to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. + Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. + Utilize ERP and MAXIMO systems for material planning and reporting. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials management processes. Basic Qualifications + Bachelor's degree required. + Minimum of 9 years of experience in materials management or related field. + Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering functional objectives. + Strong knowledge of inventory control, procurement, and logistics processes. + Proficiency in ERP systems and material planning tools. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with MAXIMO system. + Background in global supply chain management. + Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. + Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions.
