Job Description

Accentuate staffing is assisting a manufacturing company who is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working a 12-hour rotating day or night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems to support facility operations.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and amp meters to identify electrical faults.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Review and prioritize work orders, addressing urgent maintenance needs as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including LO/TO procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical role.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Candidates must be proficient in using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Candidates must have the ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• An associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
