A warm, active family on the Upper East Side is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny/family assistant to care for their two school-aged children – a 10-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son- both enrolled in full-time school during the academic year and day camps in the summer. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a reliable, structured, and proactive nanny who thrives in a household that values routine, warmth, and family time.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM–8:30 AM and 3:00 PM–7:00 PM, with one later evening each week. The family spends summers in Southampton, and the nanny must be able to join, weekends off.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain organization of children’s rooms (clothes, toys, books)
• Family laundry, tidy kitchen after breakfast
• Light meal prep & meals
• Occasional grocery shopping & light errands (mostly handled via Instacart)
• Light household support –  housekeeper comes 1x/week for deep cleaning

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven track record of longevity – must have 5+ years of continuous experience with a previous family in a full-time nanny role. (Required) 
• French Speaking a huge plus! (Daughter is bilingual; the family travels to France regularly)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage children’s daily flow independently
• Drivers License required – family may provide use of their vehicle
• Must be punctual, reliable, and proactive

Compensation & Benefits: 

• $100,000–$150,000/year
• Paid major holidays
• 4 weeks of PTO (3 aligned with family travel: Christmas, Spring Break, end of school year)
