Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology

Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601

Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract (High Possibility of Extension)

Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation:

• Local Candidates: $56 – $58/hour

• Travelers: $57 – $65/hour

Position Overview:  A well-regarded healthcare facility in Hackensack, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology experience for a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous communication with patients, fellow nurses, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans

• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safe delivery

• Perform ongoing electronic documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes

• Provide patient- and family-centered education to promote health, wellness, and effective disease management

• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or related setting

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing clinical needs

• Strong sense of accountability and patient advocacy

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

• Commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality, compassionate care

Certifications (Required Prior to Start):

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA Certified

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License
