Looking to make a difference in a welcoming, team-oriented environment? We’re hiring a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to help keep our assisted living community clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone who calls it home.

This 32-hour-per-week position offers a consistent day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM , with flexibility on which days you work . You’ll be a key part of a supportive team that values your contributions and makes your schedule work for you.

Offer Details – Position Summary
This role involves both housekeeping and laundry duties . While you’ll typically focus on one area, we’re looking for someone who’s flexible and willing to support the team wherever needed. Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments and common areas, performing deep cleaning as needed, and preparing rooms for move-ins. You’ll also help with laundering linens and personal clothing, and ensure everything is delivered back fresh and clean.

Essential Duties

  • Dust and polish furniture, picture frames, mirrors, and surfaces

  • Disinfect countertops, sinks, and bathrooms

  • Vacuum carpets and mop floors in resident and common areas

  • Refill paper products and soap dispensers; empty trash

  • Maintain cleanliness of nursing stations, hallways, med rooms, and public restrooms

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and linens

  • Deliver clean laundry to residents’ rooms

  • Ensure laundry machines are in consistent use

  • Perform detailed cleaning as needed

  • Assist with other housekeeping or laundry duties as assigned

  • 3 –6 months experience in housekeeping and/or laundry procedures, preferably in a medical facility preferred.
  • Ability to complete tasks from a checklist operation schedule.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Moderate to heavy physical activity required by exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 45 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 22 pounds of force constantly.
  • Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Frequent exposure to chemicals.
  • May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
