We are looking for caring, responsible, empathetic and conscientious men to work with a young man with autism in his home in ELLET. Shifts are 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, and on the weekends 7am-3pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities with behavioral challenges, but we will train a person who is genuinely interested. Qualifications include:
Ability to pass a background check (required)
Valid Driver's License with 4 or fewer points, along with a car on shift, car insurance and willingness to provide HPC Transportation
DODD DSP Certification
Medication Certification 1
PMT, Nysongers, or other crisis intervention certification
Direct Support Professionals are people who work directly with people with developmental disabilities with the aim of assisting the individual to obtain the best quality of life they can.
