Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Newton, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our organizational processes. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and has a keen eye for accuracy. Responsibilities: - Accurately input and update data into organizational systems and databases. - Verify the accuracy of information and identify discrepancies for correction. - Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data. - Organize and store data in a manner that is easily retrievable and accessible. - Handle routine data entry tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent data management practices. - Generate reports and summaries based on entered data as needed. - Follow established protocols and procedures for data entry processes. - Monitor data entry metrics and suggest improvements for efficiency. - Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for data management. Requirements - Proficiency in data entry, including numeric and text-based inputs. - Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. - Familiarity with computer systems and data entry software. - Ability to manage and organize large amounts of information effectively. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality. - Experience in a similar data entry role is preferred.
