Job Title: Coolant Technician

Job Overview
Responsible for maintaining coolant levels on company machines and processing used coolant through the recycling system.
Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude
Experience using basic hand tools
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform and record daily checks of coolant pH and concentration
Determine and replenish coolant levels in machines as needed (coolant and/or water)
Clean machine reservoirs on a regular schedule
Periodically empty coolant into tanker and transport to recycling area (Building 8)
Operate recycling machinery to process used coolant
Store recycled coolant in 330-gallon totes for future use
Maintain cleanliness in and around the recycling area
Assist Preventative Maintenance Technicians with oiling and greasing
Perform general labor tasks as directed
Support quality policies and continuous improvement initiatives
Carry out other duties as assigned
