Job Description

Lasting Impressions Event Rentals, a family owned company with over 70 years of experience, is seeking a dynamic leader to manage our tent department. The position will manage the installation and warehousing of tenting as well as manage the tent department crew. Lasting Impressions has the largest and most diverse selection of tenting and tenting products in our market and is growing every year. No prior tenting experience is required, but the ability to manage people is a necessity. You would report directly to the operations manager

Responsibilities:
Schedule jobs and the tent departments employees efficiently
Manage the largest, most complex tent installations, in the field
Learn all tenting products we carry and how to safely install them
Hire, promote, and discipline tent department employees
Train tent department employees following the department playbook
Ensure all procedures are regularly and completely followed
Must be able to drive a 26' box truck as well as a pickup truck with trailer
Assist with warehousing tent inventory and developing an efficient warehouse
Attend and participate in Companywide tent manager meetings quarterly to plan for the next quarter
Participate in weekly meetings with the Cleveland sales team and operations management staff to ensure that operations works together for efficiency
Report daily issues and successes regarding the tent department to the COO

Job Expectations:
Work 40-45 hours per week off season(approximately 10/15 to 4/15)
Work 45-50 hours per week during the season with occasional 60 hour weeks and rare weekend work and evening work
Work directly with and report to the operations manager
Manage and direct the tent department labor to efficiently install tenting and limiting hours
Operate the department based on the tent department handbook to consistently follow procedures
