Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Web Methods components while ensuring secure, high-performing integration environments.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include:
Install, configure, and maintain Web Methods components including Integration Server, Broker, Designer, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and adapters.
Monitor system performance and conduct health checks, applying performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal operation.
Manage user access, security configurations, and execute backup/recovery procedures to maintain data integrity and security.
Troubleshoot integration workflows and resolve transaction issues, including analyzing logs, error resolution, and supporting upgrades, patches, and deployments.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure integration for business processes.
Create and manage messaging services, queues, API policies, and clustering for high-availability environments, while maintaining documentation and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
8–10 years of experience in system administration and integration management.
Strong expertise in Cloud Integration, DevOps (CI/CD), and Java REST web services.
Hands-on experience with Software AG Web Methods components and service integration management.
