Job Description

My client, a leading financial company are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic design team. In this role, you’ll support the creation of customer-centred experiences that simplify complex systems and information. Work closely with designers, product managers, and developers, gaining hands-on experience across the full design process from research and ideation to prototyping and feedback.

Please note this will an initial 12-month contract via a W2 engagement, C2C is not possible.

Skills/Experience (required):

• 3-4 years of experience in UX design or related field, with skills in visual design and prototyping.
• Familiarity with Figma, Miro, Adobe CS, Microsoft Suite and/or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of design systems and interest in learning to maintain cohesive design standards.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to share ideas and learn from team members.
• A strong and vibrant portfolio showcasing relevant design case studies.

Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):

• Assist and co-lead in Experience Design: Help create and refine user experiences across platforms, focusing on intuitive data visualizations and workflows.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with team members and stakeholders to align on goals and support the user experience.
• Translate Complexity into Simplicity: Assist in transforming complex information into clear, user-friendly interactions, workflows, and visuals.
• Prototyping & Implementation: Creating wireframes and prototypes, collaborating with developers to bring designs to life.
• Learn & Apply Data-Driven Design: Inquisitive to learn and leverage data insights and research to support informed design decisions that improve user satisfaction.
• Gain Exposure to Design Systems: Learn about maintaining consistent design standards and contribute to our design system.
