We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer with 5+ years of professional experience to lead and execute residential projects from concept through completion.This position requires exceptional design expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with clients, consultants, and an internal design team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full design cycle from concept development through installation and final reviewDevelop and oversee design concepts, furniture and lighting plans, specifications, elevations, and presentation materialsCollaborate closely with the Principal and design team to produce detailed construction documents, elevations, and FF&E packagesResearch and source materials, finishes, hardware, fabrics, furnishings, window treatments, and accessoriesManage project budgets, scopes, timelines, schedules, and client presentationsAttend site meetings and coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultantsCommunicate design intent clearly and manage ongoing client relationships with professionalismOversee installations to ensure design integrity, quality control, and attention to detailQualifications5+ years of experience as a senior interior designer in high-end residential designBachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a four-year accredited programStrong knowledge of custom millwork, window treatments, luxury furnishings, and high-end finishesProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (Design Manager a plus)Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to lead teams, delegate effectively, and manage multiple projectsResourceful, enthusiastic, and collaborative with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary commensurate with experienceHealth insurance and 401(k)How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and portfolio to Liz Broader, VP of Operations, atliz@jcohlermason.com
