Job Description

Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Columbus, Ohio (Franklin County)
  • Work Arrangement: Remote (Will need to attend occasional meetings onsite ). Candidates in Columbus, OH are strongly preferred.
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Mode of Interview: Webcam (Teams).
  • Travel: Travel is required for occasional on-site meetings.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Environment

The Product Specialist 5 will serve as the primary administrator, focusing on system maintenance, customization, data integrity, and end-user support.

1. Salesforce Administration & Configuration (5+ Years Required)

  • System Maintenance: Daily administration and support of Salesforce, including but not limited to managing multiple user setups, permission groups , and system licenses ( CRUD management ).
  • Customization: Modify/configure the system to increase benefits and usability through the customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations .
  • Change Management: Create and manage changes to the system without interrupting the user experience.

2. Integration, Data, and Reporting

  • Integration Support: Monitor and manage exception logs for back-end system integration with SFDC .
  • Data Quality: Monitor, maintain, and improve data quality , and handle data imports as appropriate.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports , including folder maintenance, and develop new processes with associated reporting.

3. User Support and Documentation

  • User Support: Communicate with users regarding new features, enhancements, and system changes. Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance to enhance the end-user experience.
  • Documentation: Document company processes, workflows, process documentation, and field maps.

4. Desired Technical Expertise

  • Certifications: Salesforce.com Administrator Certification is required.
  • Specialized Tools (Desired): Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Drawloop, Copado, ezProtect, OwnBackup (for backups and seeding), and Metazoa Snapshot .
