Job Description

Are you passionate about using communication to inspire social change and engage communities? Join our dynamic team as a Public Relations Associate and help us capture public attention, build meaningful relationships, and rally support for important causes within local communities.

In this entry-level role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in public relations, marketing, and community outreach while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to driving positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing public relations campaigns that promote social change initiatives

  • Represent the organization at community events, outreach programs, and media opportunities

  • Build and maintain relationships with local media, community leaders, and partner organizations

  • Help craft compelling press releases, social media content, and other communication materials

  • Support event planning and coordination to maximize community engagement

  • Monitor and report on media coverage and public response to campaigns

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure aligned messaging

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for social causes and community engagement

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow

  • Prior experience or coursework in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required
