Job Summary:

We are seeking a PRN Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the physician with patient care, facilitating smooth operations within the clinical setting. You will be responsible for front and back-office tasks, assisting in patient examination and treatment, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the examination room and ensure all necessary medical supplies are stocked.
• Conduct patient intake, including vital signs and medical history reviews.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide instructions to patients regarding medications and treatments.
• Manage patient flow efficiently and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Handle administrative duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in dermatology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable.
