Summary

We are seeking a caring and dependable Full-Time Preschool Teaching Assistant to support our ministry’s classrooms. This role assists lead teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment. Preschool Teaching Assistant may be assigned a specific classroom or float between classrooms as needed to support ratios, supervision, and daily operations while modeling Christian values.

Duties

• Support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, meals, rest time, and supervision
• Teach and reinforce Christian values, including prayer, Bible stories, and learning about Jesus, as directed by lead teachers
• Model Christ-like behavior in all interactions with children, families, and staff
• Maintain proper supervision and assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
• Float between classrooms as needed to support staffing ratios and center needs
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining classroom materials
• Comply with state licensing regulations, ministry policies, and safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA credential or higher preferred, or equivalent childcare experience
• Must pass all required background checks
• Pastoral reference required
• Regular attendance at a Christian church required
• Commitment to the mission, values, and beliefs of the ministry
• Flexibility to work in multiple classrooms and age groups
