Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of strategic planning, program development and evaluation, leadership development, and academic mentoring. Applicants must have outstanding qualifications in clinical care, education, and research. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.

The incoming Physician Co-Chief will provide leadership to investigators focused on improving access to care, delivery of services in an equitable, culturally humble manner, promoting child and family engagement in care, and disseminating evidence-based practices to clinicians and policymakers to reduce health disparities and improve the health and well-being of children, adolescents, and their families. The Division of Community Care and Wellness is a rapidly growing division dedicated to promoting equity in access to and delivery of evidence-based behavioral health services and advancing innovations in health care. The division supports numerous initiatives including integrated services in primary care and school-based services to improve access to behavioral health care. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatry and psychology faculty and clinicians across multiple disciplines. The position requires the ability to forge strategic partnerships with community-based agencies, policy leaders at a local and state level, and faculty and administrators at CHOP and the University of Pennsylvania.

We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense. The University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia are EOEs. Minorities/women/individuals with disabilities/protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
