Medical Scribe/Assistant We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Scribe/Assistant to join our team! In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting patient care by accurately documenting medical information, administering hands-on patient care, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You'll Do: As a cross-functional Medical Scribe/Assistant, you'll work side-by-side with physicians, gaining first hand exposure to clinical decision-making, patient interactions, and medical documentation. You'll: + Scribe live during physician consultations, capturing critical details in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. + Assist physicians with instruments and procedures, becoming a trusted clinical support. + Perform patient work-ups post-consultation, helping translate care plans into action. + Communicate directly with patients , reinforcing treatment plans and building rapport. What You Bring: + 1+ years of on-site medical scribing experience + Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field + Strong multitasking and communication skills + Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems + A passion for patient care and a drive to learn Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
