Second Shift (Afternoons)

Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Warehouse, Working at heights

Pay: $20.95/hr + 10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift

Location/Division Specific Information:

Greencastle, PA

We are HIRING at our NEW distribution center in Greencastle PA. This new innovative facility will provide additional distribution capacity for finished goods on the East Coast and help build a seamless supply chain to improve our customer experience.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

This isn’t your ordinary warehouse job nor ordinary company. As a warehouse colleague, you will help deliver various types of research and laboratory products for universities, hospitals and doctors offices. You will be on the front lines of helping science make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

A Day in the Life:

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements
  • Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested.
  • Verify the quality, type and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).
  • Safely operate distribution equipment, as required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required: No previous work experience required

  • Preferred: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to read and write in English

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (59–86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and/or freezer-room (minus 4 – 23 degrees F).
  • Walk, stand, reach, push, pull and lift up to 40lbs on a continuous basis.
  • Regularly climb ladders.
  • May occasionally sit, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • May handle “packaged” hazardous materials.
