We're looking for a  Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic with experience working on heavy equipment and diesel trucks in Winchester, IN, to work on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including dump trucks, hydrovac trucks, semis, service trucks, trailers, and more. This essential role is the backbone of our operation, keeping the team on the road and our projects running smoothly and on time.

The starting hourly pay will be based on experience. We offer 100% fully paid on-the-job training. Our Truck Drivers are home every night!

What You'll Do:

• Keep our fleet running smoothly by performing routine preventative maintenance and essential repairs.
• Diagnose and fix brake issues, electrical problems, and any equipment concerns reported by drivers.
• Conduct DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Tackle repairs on specialized equipment, including bulk unloading systems, to keep operations on track.
• Adhere to and promote company safety standards, ensuring a safe work environment for everyone.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and submit it on time, supporting seamless operations.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, identifying any maintenance needs early.

What We Need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid, insurable driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Experience in maintenance on heavy equipment and diesel trucks required; welding experience and ASE certifications are a plus
• CDL (Class A or B) with Tanker Endorsement preferred, but not required
• Ability to work after hours as needed
• Must have own set of hand tools, the ability to lift heavy equipment regularly, and basic computer skills
