Aircraft Electrical Technician

Mojave, CA |$28/hour | Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Technician to join our team in Mojave, CA . This hands-on role involves installing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components on military and commercial aircraft. If you’re a self-motivated technician with strong wiring, harnessing, and connector skills—and can work with minimal supervision—we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and wire terminal boards per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Fabricate and install wire harnesses on various aircraft platforms.
• Terminate a variety of aircraft electrical connectors.
• Perform continuity checks on wiring, connectors, and aircraft components.
• Conduct power-on and operational system checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical cables and harnesses.
• Use test equipment for in-shop and on-aircraft diagnostics.
• Document redline changes and provide feedback to improve work instructions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading/interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Skilled in soldering, crimping, and using hand tools specific to aircraft modification.
• Capable of modifying or developing work instructions and mentoring team members.
• Strong knowledge of electrical harness assembly installation and troubleshooting.

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical modifications/installations on military or FAA-certified commercial aircraft.
• High school diploma required; technical training from a military or commercial technical school is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and government contracts.
