Nestled in the heart of Venice, ¡Salud! is a unique dual-concept space that transforms from a specialty coffee haven by day to a vibrant cocktail bar by night. We’re all about creating memorable experiences, whether it’s through a perfectly brewed espresso or a lively evening gathering. As we gear up to open our flagship location, we’re looking for a leader who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us set the tone for success.
What You’ll Do:
As our Director of Coffee, you’ll be the heartbeat of our daytime operations. Here’s a glimpse of your key responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the specialty coffee program, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Build and implement systems to ensure consistency and quality in every cup.
- Train, mentor and inspire a team of baristas to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Collaborate with ownership, the executive chef and the bar director to align daytime and evening programs.
- Uphold the ¡Salud! standard of excellence, fostering a positive and growth-oriented team culture.
- Monitor inventory, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with operational standards.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of leadership, organization and hospitality-driven energy to the role. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
- At least 1 year of experience in a café or hospitality management role.
- A passion for coffee, customer service and creating meaningful guest experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to build systems from the ground up.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with a diverse team.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
