Compensation

$35-37/hr

• Proficiency in design tools - such as Adobe illustrator, photoshop and Sketch/Figma, with the ability to create visually appealing and high quality design assets (technical skill)
• Multitasking and Adaptability - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adjusting to shifting priorities and timelines. (soft skill)
• Product and UI Understanding - Deep understanding of Samsung Wallet as a product, brand, and UI to ensure design work aligns with the Samsung brand guidelines. (technical skill)

Overview

The main function of a designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems.
• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client.
• Create charts and graphs from data given.
• Develop creative placements, such as banners, for marketing campaigns.
• Draft copy to support individual campaigns and for use in branding.
• Develop and maintain a library of brand assets and key visuals.
• Create individual emails and email templates using HTML.
• Manage creative direction for campaigns and the brand overall in collaboration with the Wallet marketing lead.
• Develop and enhance Samsung Wallet presentations as needed.
  

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• BA/BS (Strongly Preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Graphic design: 3+ years
• Experience with Sketch (Preferred)
• Proficiency in HTML for emails
• Copywriting experience
• Experience leading creative direction (Preferred)
• Strong PowerPoint presentation development skills
