Job Description

Kex Rx Pharmacy & Home Care in Atchison, KS is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. Kex Rx Pharmacy is an independent retail pharmacy with a passion for improving the human condition by offering healthcare solutions that enhance lives through compassionate care.

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use and side effects.
Will work closely with the patients and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes.
Manage all clinical pharmacy programs including but not limited to:
- Medication Synchronization
- Vaccinations
- Therapeutic Optimization
- Nutrient Depletion
- Administration of Long-Acting Psychotics
- Compounding
- Adherence Packaging
- Medication Therapy Management
Abide by all State, Federal laws and Third Party guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures
Help supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy team members.

Qualifications

Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care skills
Strong knowledge of pharmacy protocols and regulations
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
State pharmacist licensure in Kansas
