Description A start-up is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to support our accounting operations. This is a remote, contract role for 2 months with potential to extend. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a steady flow of invoices and email communication. This role is perfect for someone with basic QuickBooks experience and strong follow-up skills. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP): - Monitor and maintain the AP inbox, including invoice submissions and internal/external requests. - Follow up on invoices or emails requiring additional information, approvals, or clarification. - Enter bills into QuickBooks, often into a placeholder category pending chart-of-accounts updates. - Process vendor payments as needed. Requirements The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, basic QuickBooks bill-entry experience, and the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and work independently. Hours are Monday - Friday from 12-5PM. This is a fully remote position, pay is up to $28/hr.
